Season’s Greetings

Compliments of the Season from Moth Woman Press to book and zine lovers everywhere.

Pictured above: a detail from our Christmas tree, followed below by views of the Moth Woman Press table at the BMI Christmas Maker Market on Sunday, December 18. (Click on images to enlarge).

Warmest thanks to our wonderful host, Ballarat Mechanic’s Institute, and to all who came, including those who purchased our wares. We had a ball and can’t wait to do it again next year.

Speaking of next year, Happy New Year, everyone. See you in 2023!

Stocking up at Playing in the Attic

Yesterday’s visit to Playing in the Attic to replenish supplies of Moth Woman Press books, postcards and limited edition zines found the shop looking particularly resplendent.

It’s encouraging to know that after all these years, folk are still collecting our little zines (arrayed on Trudy’s counter in the top pic).

MWP at Playing in the Attic

In some happy post-Easter news, a goodly selection of Moth Woman Press publications - postcards, zines and perennial favourite, There was once ... our anthology of fairy tales with a feminist twist, are now available at Playing in the Attic, a marvellous mini-emporium of papery delights.

Playing in the Attic is centrally located in Sturt Street, one of Ballarat's finest thoroughfares. Its next door neighbour is renowned second hand book seller, Minerva's Bookshop; both are at the entrance to the historic Ballarat Mechanic's Institute library, making the site a veritable mecca for bibliophiles
