Christmas Eve at Moth Woman Press

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

I’m looking forward to sharing more things bookish with you in 2024. At present, however, my prints, artist books and zines are taking a back seat to painting as I resume work for a solo show at Stephen McLaughlan Gallery, Melbourne, that’s booked in for the latter half of next year. All going well, some linocuts (including the work on the press bed above) and an artist book will be part of it too.

Enjoy the Festive Season, everyone. See you in 2024!

Warmest thanks to our wonderful host, Ballarat Mechanic’s Institute, and to all who came, including those who purchased our wares. We had a ball and can’t wait to do it again next year.

Speaking of next year, Happy New Year, everyone. See you in 2023!

Season's Greetings for 2019

A snapshot of my old studio. (Photo credit: Shane Jones).

2019 has been an uncharacteristically slow year at Moth Woman Press, due to a series of back-to-back house moves. Over the past seven months, my partner, Shane Jones, and I sold our respective homes in Melbourne and Ballarat and have bought a house together in Ballarat East. Our new home is still a work in progress, but we're gradually getting there.

I look forward to sharing further news from the new centre of operations of Moth Woman Press, Ballarat, in the coming weeks.

Until then, Merry Chistmoth, everyone.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Moth Woman Press is closed for Christmas Festivities, but will be back in action within the next couple of days.

Here in Mothstralia a heat wave is forecast for the remainder of the week - no chestnuts roasting on an open fire for us.

Whatever the weather wherever you are, warmest Christmas wishes from Moth Woman Press.

Dreaming of a White Christmas

Another year has flown by with the speed of a moth's wings. Deep down under in Mothstralia, where Christmas falls in summertime and where we've been experiencing record-breaking hot weather, a cool Yule is high on our list of Christmas wishes. To all of you we wish a happy, hearty, healthy Christmas and New Year filled with fabulous books and zines, some of which we hope to bring to you.
